Weekly Update - September 5, 2007
MAIN STREET UPDATE
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
ACCOMPLISHED
- Curb installation was completed along the east end of Main Street.
- Paving installation for on-street parking continued along Main Street.
- Grading work for sidewalks continued.
- Relocation of the sanitary sewer line has been completed for the new plaza area. Gas line installation will continue.
- Installation work continued on the foundations for the new streetlights.
OUTLOOK FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS:
- Installation of curbs in the downtown area will be completed.
- Gas line relocation will be completed for the new plaza area.
- Installation of light pole foundations will continue.
- Grading for sidewalks will continue. Installation of the sidewalks may begin within the next two weeks.
- Installation work will begin on the driveway aprons.
MASON-MONTGOMERY ROAD PROJECT
ACCOMPLISHED THUS FAR:
- The installation of driveway aprons has begun.
- Installation of the underground conduit began for the new street lighting.
- Crews have begun pouring sidewalks along Mason-Montgomery Road.
- Duke Energy continued the relocation of the overhead electric lines to the new utility poles.
OUTLOOK FOR NEXT TWO WEEKS:
- Installation work will begin on the foundations for the streetlights.
- Tie-ins and services for the gas line will be completed.
- Cincinnati Bell, Time Warner, and Embarq will begin relocating the overhead lines to the new utility poles.
- Sidewalk and curb removal will begin in front of the firehouse and parking area near the intersection of Mason-Montgomery Road and Main Street.
