MAIN STREET UPDATE

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

ACCOMPLISHED

  • Installation of sidewalks continued along Main Street, from North West Street to North East Street.
  • Transformer pads have been set.
  • Grading work for sidewalks continued.
  • Installation of conduit has begun for street tree power receptacles.
  • Installation work continued on the foundations for the new street lights.

OUTLOOK FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS:

  • Grading and curb installation work will begin on the plaza area.
  • Footer installation work will begin on the three stone walls for the plaza.
  • Installation of light pole foundations will continue.
  • Grading for sidewalks will continue. Installation of the sidewalks continues on Main Street, between North East Street and Mason-Montgomery Road.
  • Installation work continues on the driveway aprons.

MASON-MONTGOMERY ROAD PROJECT

ACCOMPLISHED THUS FAR:

  • The installation of sidewalks will continue.
  • Installation of the underground conduit continues for the new street lighting foundations.
  • Restoration work has begun. Crews will begin seeding, mulching, and laying topsoil for the yards affected by the construction.
  • Grading work has been completed on the bike path along Mason-Montgomery Road.
  • Duke Energy completed relocating the overhead electric lines to the new utility poles.

OUTLOOK FOR NEXT TWO WEEKS:

  • Installation work will continue on the foundations for the streetlights.
  • Work will continue on tie-ins and services for the gas line.
  • Cincinnati Bell, Time Warner, and Embarq will relocate their overhead lines to the new utility poles.
  • Sidewalks have been removed in front of the firehouse and parking area near the intersection of Mason-Montgomery Road and Main Street. Workers will begin installing curbs.

OTHER NOTES OF INTEREST:

  • Crews are awaiting Duke Energy’s completion of the gas line tie-ins. Once completed, work can begin on opening up the northbound lanes of traffic along Mason-Montgomery Road.
