MAIN STREET UPDATE
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
ACCOMPLISHED
- Sidewalk installation continued along Main Street.
- Installation work began on the foundations for the plaza walls.
- Driveway aprons installation continued.
- The traffic signal on the corner of North West Street and Main Street was removed.
- Paving work has continued in areas along Main Street.
OUTLOOK FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS:
- Grading and curb installation work will continue on the plaza area.
- Concrete base installation work for pavers will continue at the west corner of Mason-Montgomery Road and Main Street.
- Construction work on the planting walls of the plaza area will begin.
- Installation of the sidewalks will continue on Main Street.
- Installation work will continue on the driveway aprons.
MASON-MONTGOMERY ROAD PROJECT
ACCOMPLISHED THUS FAR:
- Installation of curbs and driveway aprons was completed in front of the firehouse.
- Installation of the underground conduit continued for the new street lighting foundations.
- Restoration work continued. Crews are seeding, mulching, and laying topsoil for the yards affected by the construction.
- Installation of asphalt continued. Crews completed installing the base course in front of the firehouse. Crews also installed the final course of asphalt for the bike path.
- Cincinnati Bell began relocating fiber optic lines.
OUTLOOK FOR NEXT TWO WEEKS:
- Mason-Montgomery Road will re-open to northbound traffic between Church and North Streets, likely today or tomorrow.
- Paving work began along the intersection of North Street and Mason-Montgomery Road.
- Storm sewer installation work continued across North Street.
- Once Cincinnati Bell completes fiber optic relocation, Time Warner will start the cable relocation.
