MAIN STREET UPDATE
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
ACCOMPLISHED
- Crews installed sidewalks and are pouring driveway aprons in various locations.
- Wall installation began for the plaza area and parking lot adjacent to 111 Reading Road.
- Workers continued to install light pole foundations.
- Conduit has been installed in the plaza area for streetlights and the irrigation system.
- Curbs were poured on Reading Road and North West Street.
- Mud slab was poured for the paver area in front of Miami Valley Floral.
- Duke Energy began pulling wire for underground electric.
- Time Warner began pulling wire for underground cable.
OUTLOOK FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS:
- Sidewalk and driveway apron installation will continue in various locations.
- Wall installation will continue in the plaza area and for the parking lot area adjacent to 111 Reading Road.
- Light pole foundation installation will continue in the plaza area.
- Conduit installation will continue in the plaza area for streetlights and the irrigation system.
- Mud slab will be poured for the paver area along Reading Road, as well as at the northwest and southwest corners of Main Street and Mason-Montgomery Road.
- Electrical services will begin to be transferred from overhead to underground for some individual buildings.
MASON-MONTGOMERY ROAD PROJECT
ACCOMPLISHED THUS FAR:
- Grading and curb pouring was completed on West North Street.
- Grading work was finished for the remaining portion of the bike path on Mason-Montgomery Road.
- Sidewalks, driveway aprons, and curb ramps were poured in several locations.
- Restoration work continued. Crews are continuing to seed disturbed areas.
- Time Warner continued cable line installation.
OUTLOOK FOR NEXT TWO WEEKS:
- Paving work will occur on West North Street. Once complete, crews will re-open the street for westward one-way traffic.
- Paving work on the bike path will be completed.
- Pouring of driveways, sidewalks, and aprons will be completed.
- The restoration and seeding of disturbed areas will continue.
- Streetlight foundation installation will begin.
