Weekly Update - May 21, 2008

CONSTRUCTION NEWS:

  • Topsoil restoration and seeding continues for disturbed areas.
  • Workers continue to work on smaller tasks and “punch list” items throughout the project area.
  • Cincinnati Bell continues relocation work on their fiber optic line.
  • Duke Energy has connected power to the lighting controller on Mason-Montgomery Road and the lights are now operational.

NOTES OF INTEREST:

  • The Beach Waterpark opened its doors this week, 23 years ago. With more than 50 rides and attractions, the stand-alone waterpark features water rides for adults and kids, as well as volleyball and basketball courts. The Beach also hosts “teen” nights, poolside beverage service, and “dive-in” movies (where movies are shown on a large screen at the wave pool).
