Weekly Update - May 28, 2008

CONSTRUCTION NEWS:

• Embarq continues splicing their cable. They have removed additional cable and will continue splices so the remaining cable can be removed.
• Cincinnati Bell continues splicing their fiber optic line. Their work is scheduled to be complete next week.

NOTES OF INTEREST:

• This weekend marks a historic 205-year milestone for downtown Mason. On June 1, 1803, Revolutionary War veteran William Mason paid $1,700 at auction to purchase 640 acres of land. Throughout the following decades, that land later evolved into what is now downtown Mason.
