Weekly Update - June 18, 2008
CONSTRUCTION NEWS:
- Cincinnati Bell removed all old fiber optic cable. Cincinnati Bell, the city, and Duke Energy are working collaboratively to identify concrete anchored poles and determine the best removal method.
- Upon the completion of the pole removal, the City of Mason will schedule the contractor to return and complete the remaining work, including the final course of pavement and striping.
- Mainline is working on repairing wall damage caused by a vehicle at Gary’s Barbershop and on minor landscaping issues and restoration.
NOTES OF INTEREST:
- On June 17, 1775, Warren County namesake, Dr. Joseph Warren, died at the Battle of Bunker Hill. Dr. Warren was an American doctor and soldier who is noted in history for sending Paul Revere on his famous “midnight ride”.
