Life in Motion!

The Mason Community Center is the result of a unique public partnership with the Mason City School District. The City of Mason operates and manages this new, state-of-the-art community recreation center that was built by the school district. It was presented to the community at an open house on March 1, 2003, and opened for regular business the following day.

The Mason Community Center will be closed on New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. Special holiday hours will be scheduled for Memorial Day, July 3rd, Independence Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve.

The Community Center has over 150,000 square feet of recreational and leisure facilities and equipment, as well as hundreds of programs and activities. The facility is open daily for all to enjoy their leisure and recreation time in a safe, friendly, and enjoyable environment. Click on the map for a printable version.

Buy a pass today! Pass rates are discounted for residents and for non-residents who work in Mason. Or choose a Daily Pass. Please note that all youth ages 10 to 16 who are in the facility must have a current pass or a Youth ID card even if they do not wish to enter the restricted areas of the center.
