Frequently Asked Questions About Mason's Pool
How do I buy a season pass for the pool?
Passes are available at the pool whenever it is open. Prior to the season opening of the pool, passes are available at the customer service counter at Mason Community Center.
Will there be a limit on the number of season passes sold?
No, there is currently no limit set on the number of season passes sold. This helps keep the price of each pass more affordable.
Are non-residents allowed to go to the pool or buy a season pass?
Yes. Season passes and daily admissions are available at nonresident rates.
Who qualifies for the resident rate?
The resident rate is for people whose legal, permanent, residential address is within the city limits of Mason. Many homes have Mason addresses but are not actually in the city. The Mason Post Office and the Mason School District serve a much larger area than just the city.
How do I sign up for swimming lessons and other pool programs?
Swimming lessons and other pool program sign-ups will be held only at the pool. Pre-season sign-ups are held for residents only on the first weekend in May. Sign up on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and on Sunday from noon till 3 p.m. On the remaining weekends in May, sign-ups are open to everyone. If space permits, additional enrollments will be taken at the pool once it opens.
How do I apply for a job at the pool?
Contact the Parks & Recreation Department at 513-229-8550 for more information.
