Billing and Payment Information
What services does my water bill cover?
You will receive a single bill each month for
water and sewer services, the
stormwater utility,
and for
waste collection.
When will my water meter be read?
All meters are read and billed on a monthly basis. The specific date for each meter reading is scheduled in advance and is printed on your statement.
GCWW plans to convert all meters in its service area to automatic reads beginning in 2003. This will allow meters to be read on a more regular basis, eliminating wide fluctuations in billing amounts due to differences in the number of days between readings.
When will I receive my water bill and when is it due?
Statements are normally mailed within two business days after the scheduled reading date. From the date the statement is generated, you will have 21 days in which payment can be made to avoid finance charges. A late notice will be mailed if the payment is not received within that time. Late customers are then given an additional 7 days in which to pay the bill before service is disrupted.
What methods of payment are available?
GCWW has several options for paying your bill, including paying at the Mason Municipal Center and on-line payments. Click here for more information.
What are the late fees?
0.83 % per month on all outstanding balances.
