National Youth Sports Coaches Association (NYSCA)

The City of Mason, in cooperation with youth sports, has numerous opportunities for you to become a volunteer coach. Whether your passion is baseball or basketball, volunteer coaches are needed. All coaches must fill out a volunteer application, submit to fingerprinting at the police department, and pass the National Youth Sports Coaches Association (NYSCA) certification exam. Fingerprinting is available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Saturday fingerprinting dates will be announced when necessary. For more information or to take the exam, visit www.nays.org.
