NEW “SNOW DAY” DAY CAMP AT MASON COMMUNITY CENTER

Tired of trying to figure out who can care for your school-age children on a snow day?

Bring them to the Mason Community Center for the new “Snow Day” Day Camp! When the Mason City School District calls off school due to inclement weather, your children ages 6 to 12 can have fun at the Mason Community Center.

Each day will feature group games, crafts, sport activities, a movie, and swimming at the indoor leisure pool. Each camper will need to bring a full lunch, refillable water bottle, plenty of snacks, extra clothing, gym shoes, and a swimsuit and towel. The camp will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on days when the Mason City Schools are closed. (There will be no camp on days when the opening of school is delayed.)

Pre-registration is required for this program to reserve space for your child. Each child will need to be registered separately and each registration will secure a spot for all snow days from February 1 through April 1. There is no charge to register but there is a cost for the camp. Payment for each snow day is due when you drop your child off for the program.
