Red, Rhythm & Boom Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring a cooler / lawn chair / games (i.e.-cornhole) with me into the park?
Yes. We welcome you to bring a chair or blanket to sit on while you enjoy the music and fireworks. Coolers are also allowed within the park area. Games are permitted as long as you are respectful of other guests.

Is it okay to bring my pet?
We are sorry, but pets will not be permitted in the park on July 3.

May I set up a tent?
Sorry, for safety reasons, no tents or umbrellas are allowed.

May I bring in glass containers?
No. We do not allow glass in the park because of the risk of injury.

Can I bring alcohol into the park or will alcohol be available for purchase within the park?
No. Because this is a family event, alcohol is not permitted to be brought in, nor will it be available for purchase.

Will there be a shuttle bus from each of the parking locations? How much does the shuttle cost?
There will be a shuttle available from each of the specified parking locations. The shuttle is free and is available to all of our guests. Handicap shuttle buses will be available for those with wheelchairs. We also encourage guests carrying bulky items, such as strollers, coolers, and lawn chairs, to use the handicap shuttles.

How much does it cost to get into the event?
Nothing. This event is free to any and all who attend. Enjoy live music, activities for children, and fireworks. Food vendors will also be on hand and their prices vary.

What bands are playing at this year's event?
This year we are pleased to feature several local bands, including The Rusty Griswolds and Off the Hook, on two separate stages! The music and entertainment begin at 2:30 p.m. and last until 10:30 p.m. when we’ll light up the night sky with the help of Rozzi’s Fireworks. For a full listing of bands and times, view our schedule of events.

How early may I arrive?
The first bands take the stage at 2:30 p.m. (subject to change) but you are free to enter the park before that time.

Where will the stage be located?
The stage will be located in the north section of Corwin M. Nixon Park.

Will there be an ATM nearby?
No. Unfortunately, this year there will be no ATM available at the park.
