City Parks

The City of Mason has parkland and recreational programs for everyone! Seven parks, totaling over 300 acres, are home to athletic fields, basketball and tennis courts, a disc golf course, picnic shelter areas, fishing lakes, hiking trails, bike paths, playgrounds, and an award-winning swimming pool. Some parks have picnic and other facilities that can be reserved. Recreational activities and special events occur in the parks year-round.



HERITAGE OAK PARK

Heritage Oak Park is the city's largest, with soccer, tennis, softball, and basketball facilities. The park also has two children's playgrounds, two picnic shelters, and restroom facilities.

CORWIN M. NIXON PARK

Corwin M. Nixon Park has soccer fields and lighted ball diamonds. It is also home to the Lou Eves Municipal Pool, open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and the annual Sunshine Concert Series on Sunday evenings at 6 p.m., June through early August.

PINE HILL LAKES PARK

Pine Hill Lakes Park is adjacent to Corwin M. Nixon Park. Nature trails, picnic shelters, 2 fishing lakes, and wooded areas make this a passive, relaxing park area.

MEADOWS PARK

Meadows Park has basketball facilities and a large playground, making it an active neighborhood park.

THOMAS P. QUINN PARK

Thomas P. Quinn Park, another neighborhood park, features a handicap accessible playground along with tennis, basketball, and soccer facilities.

Mason's newest park offers five lighted ball diamonds, two football fields, and a 9-hole disc golf course.
