Mason Community Garden Sponsors Gardening Program

Mason area residents are invited to a free presentation by Warren County Master Gardener Cindy DeSerna. Learn some good planting techniques in Cindy’s hands-on “A, B, Seeds of Gardening” workshop.

The presentation will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 29, in the Senior Center at Mason Community Center. The program is free and open to the public.

The program is being presented by the Mason Community Garden. The City of Mason has set aside an area on Mason-Morrow-Millgrove Road across from Mason Sports Park as a garden plot for individuals and organizations to grow vegetables, either for their own use or to donate to local food banks. Applications will be accepted from individuals and groups interested in growing vegetables on a 10 by 15-foot area that will be set aside for their use.
