Mason Community Center will present a unique one-day program for families with special needs to feel comfortable trying a new activity without the pressure of having to join a team or class to participate.

“Try It” offers an opportunity to try out several great sports, including soccer, baseball, and a Zumba class sampler, to help your child begin a new, healthy lifestyle. The programs have been designed to work with your child to support any and all levels of participation. Parents will meet the experienced individuals who will be supporting your child and answering any questions you may have. In addition, buddies will be available to come alongside your child to make sure he or she has a positive experience while trying a new skill. There is no cost to participate.

Try it: Sports! will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Mason Community Center. The center is partnering with many of the special needs organizations in the surrounding area to provide information about programming for all abilities. If you are part of a special needs organization and would like to join our event, please call 513.229.8555 ext. 5549.

For more information call the Mason Community Center at 513.229.8555.
