Ken has coached the Mason Manta Rays since the team’s inception and currently serves on the USA Swimming Central Zone Senior Sectional committee. Prior to coaching the Manta Rays, he was an assistant coach at Clemson University and head coach of the Anderson Swim Team in Anderson, South Carolina. He later became head coach at Aiken-Augusta Swim League in Augusta, Georgia. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kenyon College.
Ken has coached multiple Olympic Trial Qualifiers, Ohio High School State Champions, Sectional Champions, and Top 16 swimmers.

As a swimmer, Ken was a three-time Ohio High School State qualifier (Turpin High School), a 22-time All-American, Olympic Trials qualifier, D-III National Record Holder, and 16-time National Champion.
