From teen and tween-focused fitness classes to exergaming to a challenging rock climbing wall, the Edge at Mason Community Center is the place for young people to stay active and entertained.

Getting to the Edge!

Teens will love The Edge, an area of the Community Center designed with them in mind. A climbing wall is surrounded by a variety of exergames to provide plenty of active fun.

Fitness Programs

In addition to the climbing wall and exergaming, we offer fitness classes specifically designed for teens and tweens.

Teen/Tween Boot Camp

Boot Camp is based upon simple, yet effective, fundamental movement patterns executed at high intensity. Movement patterns focus on cardiovascular, speed, endurance, partner resistance, strength training with dumbbells, barbells, bands, and fit-ball. Participants also enjoy fitness games, kickboxing, medicine ball drills, plyometrics, box drills, and obstacle courses. Join us for the fun right after school!

Parent & Youth workout time

Spend some time exercising together in the Fitness Center. Teens and adults have access to Precor cardiovascular equipment, Icarian selectorized weight equipment, and exercise/medicine balls.

(Daily rate applies to non-pass holders)
