Programs at Mason Community Center

If Mason City Schools are on a 2-hour delay:
All scheduled programs and activities will generally run as scheduled, unless an instructor cannot make it in.

If Mason City Schools are cancelled due to bad weather:
All programs that begin before 4:00 p.m. will be canceled except for "Snow Days" Day Camp. All youth basketball will also be cancelled. This includes youth basketball activities at both Mason Community Center and in school gyms.

Weather conditions will be evaluated and a determination for evening classes will be made before 3 p.m. Notices will be posted to the web and on the weather hotline.

The Mason Community Center will be closed only in severe weather or other emergencies.

Outdoor Programs

Ball games and other programs held in the parks will depend on the weather and field conditions. If in doubt, please check the hotline.
