Mason City Council has made modifications to the regular City Council Meeting schedule over the course of the upcoming summer months. Only the first regularly scheduled meeting in the months of May, June, July and August will take place as scheduled.

Two Council Meetings per month, on the second and fourth Mondays, will resume as normal beginning Monday, September 13.

The Council meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. Council is anticipated to adjourn immediately into Executive Session until approximately 6:30 p.m. The reception to recognize the 13 Mason Manta Rays athletes who qualified for the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Atrium of the Municipal Center. The Council meeting will resume in the Council Chambers at 7:00 p.m.

The Wellness Committee of Council is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, July 14 at 4:30 p.m. in the Atrium Conference Room located inside the Mason Municipal Center, 6000 Mason Montgomery Road.
The Downtown Committee of Council is scheduled to meet on the fourth Thursday of every month in the Atrium Conference Room located inside the Mason Municipal Center, 6000 Mason Montgomery Road.
The Board of Veteran’s Affairs is scheduled to meet on the fourth Thursday of every month in the Atrium Conference Room located inside the Mason Municipal Center, 6000 Mason Montgomery Road.
