City of Mason Announces Bands Set to Perform at 2019 Red, Rhythm & Boom on July 3!

The City of Mason is excited to announce that 2019 Red Rhythm and Boom (RRB) will feature grammy-nominated band, Daughtry with an opening performance by Echosmith!

Daughtry is an American Rock band formed and fronted by namesake Chris Daughtry, who was a finalist on American Idol. Their self-titled album was released in 2006 and reached #1 on the Billboard 200. Daughtry’s popular hits such as “It’s Not Over” and “I’m Going Home” are sure to keep the crowd rocking throughout the evening on July 3! The City of Mason is also excited to announce that 2019 Red, Rhythm & Boom will kick off with an opening performance at 6 p.m. by alt-pop band Echosmith!  Daughtry will take the stage shortly after at 8:30 p.m.

2019 marks the 100th anniversary for the establishment of the American Legion. The RRB event will provide an opportunity to thank the local American Legion Post 194 for their ongoing contribution to local veterans and the Mason Community at large. The City will be partnering with American Legion Post 194 to offer additional military activities and attractions at the event and pay tribute to our local military and veterans. In honor of  our Nation’s active military and veterans, the City and American Legion are working together to create a video tribute of Mason’s local military and veterans to showcase at the RRB event.  The City encourages all active military and veterans from the Mason community to submit a short video clip following the brief guidelines that can be found on the City’s website at www.imaginemason.org.

Veterans and active military who participate in the tribute video will receive 4 free Kids Zone wristbands that can be used throughout the entire event in appreciation for their participation as well as their service! We encourage local veterans and active military from the Mason community to get involved by contacting redrhythmboom@masonoh.org.

This FREE patriotic event is taking place on Wednesday, July 3 at Mason Municipal Center and Community Center campus. The fun will begin at 4 p.m. featuring kids activities and attractions such as interactive inflatables, bounce houses, carnival games and more! Guests can also enjoy a wide variety of food options as well as adult beverages available throughout the evening.
