The community is invited to participate in the annual Sheri Collins Memorial Walk & Roll event taking place on Friday, June 1 in Downtown Mason. The 1-mile walk will begin at 6 p.m. at Mason’s Downtown Plaza and participants will stroll through the historic Downtown district ending back at the Plaza where they can enjoy the first Music in Mason concert of the season featuring music, food and beverages, kids’ activities, and more!
Registration for the event is FREE! Additional donations can be made during registration to support the Mason Parks and Recreation Foundation’s goal of building Common Ground playground, an all-inclusive playground designed for children and adults of all abilities to interact and play together. Register today at https://bit.ly/2r3LYkA.
Participants are encouraged to wear purple to create awareness for Pancreatic Cancer as we celebrate the life of Sheri Collins, 14 year employee of the City of Mason and Common Ground advocate who lost her life to Pancreatic Cancer in 2014.
