Memorial Day 2024

The month of May provides the opportunity for the Mason community to express gratitude to all of the servicemen, women, and their families for the sacrifices they have made to protect our Nation. Join the City of Mason in honoring our Nation’s heroes this month by participating in one of the many initiatives taking place throughout the Mason community.

Mason Veterans Memorial

The City of Mason is proud to honor the men and women who served our country in the Armed Forces not just throughout the month of May but every day through the Mason Veterans Memorial. The Mason Veterans Memorial provides community members and visitors with the opportunity to pay tribute to our Nation’s military heroes. The Memorial was rededicated on Saturday, November 11, 2023 where the City unveiled significant improvements and new enhancements in honor of the Memorial’s 20th anniversary. The enhancements included the addition of a Space Force monument stone, a Gold Star Families Memorial, a Purple Heart Memorial and a Never Forget Garden Stone. Learn more about the Mason Veterans Memorial here.
