
Music in Mason is back in 2025 with great music and fun for the community to enjoy in Downtown Mason! The City will host seven concerts on Mason’s Downtown Plaza on Friday evenings throughout the months of June and July. In addition to live music, the concerts will feature food trucks, adult beverages provided by the American Legion Post 194 and VFW Post 9622, kids’ activities, offerings by local businesses and more! Community members can also stroll along the Mason Mile throughout the evening to explore other food, beverage and retail options.
The 2025 Music in Mason concert series will kick off on Friday, June 6 beginning at 6:00 p.m. with “Chris Runnels Band” followed by “Michael Williams” at 8:00 p.m. with the event concluding at 10:00 p.m. Friday nights in Downtown Mason are a great way to end the work week with family, friends and neighbors while enjoying live music, entertainment and community.

Mason Market on the Mile
Mason Market on the Mile returns this season as part of the June 13, June 27, and July 18 Music in Mason concerts at the Downtown Plaza from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Market on the Mile will also be available August 1, August 15, September 5, and September 19 featuring a variety of products made by local vendors, food producers, and artisans. Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area
While enjoying Music in Mason, be sure to take advantage of the Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA)! Visit your favorite local participating DORA establishment, grab your drink, then step outside and enjoy your beverage while listening to live music or strolling along the Mason Mile! The American Legion Post 194 and VFW Post 9622 will be selling adult beverage options within the concert venue area for adult patrons to enjoy. Proceeds from adult beverage sales benefit the Mason Parks and Recreation Foundation and American Legion Post 194 and VFW Post 9622.

The Mason small business community is an essential component to bringing the community together and building a sense of connection and community pride. While attending Music in Mason, community members are encouraged to explore all the unique businesses along the Mason Mile. Mason’s small business community features many unique services as well as a variety of retail and dining experiences. Whether you’re looking for a unique gift or a tasty treat or dish, there is something for all ages to enjoy along the Mason Mile!

Traffic and Road Closures
Due to the extent of activities taking place during Music in Mason, road closures are necessary to ensure the safety of event participants. West Main Street from US Route 42 to North Forest Avenue will be closed along with North West Street from US Route 42 to Church Street beginning at 3:00 p.m. during each event. Detours for local traffic will be provided. Roads are anticipated to open by 11:30 p.m. after the conclusion of each concert and clean-up efforts.
