
Music in Mason is back in 2026 with great music and fun for the community to enjoy! The City will host nine concerts on Mason’s Downtown Plaza on Friday evenings this year with a special concert rescheduled for Friday, May 29 to kick off the summer season as part of the City’s efforts to celebrate America250. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. featuring classic American favorites by School of Rock followed by the national touring act, Fortunate Sons, taking the stage at 7:30 p.m. performing the iconic sounds of Creedence Clearwater Revival. In addition to live music, the event will feature food trucks, adult beverages provided by the American Legion Post 194, kids’ activities, local business displays and an opportunity for participants to stroll the Mason Mile and explore all of the unique businesses that call Mason home.

Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area
While enjoying Music in Mason, be sure to take advantage of the Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA)! Visit your favorite local participating DORA establishment, then step outside and enjoy your beverage while listening to the music and participating in all the fun activities! Beverages will also be sold at Music in Mason with proceeds from beverage sales will benefit the Mason Parks and Recreation Foundation and American Legion Post 194 and VFW Post 9622.
Supporting Mason’s Small Business Community
The Mason small business community is an essential component to bringing the community together and building a sense of connection and community pride. While attending Music in Mason, community members are encouraged to explore all the unique businesses that call Mason home. Mason’s small business community features many unique specialty shops, retail and dining experiences. There is something for all ages to enjoy!

Traffic and Road Closures
Due to the extent of activities taking place during the events, road closures will occur to ensure the safety of event participants. West Main Street from US Route 42 to North Forest Avenue will be closed along with North West Street from US Route 42 to Church Street beginning at 3:00 p.m. during each event. Detours for local traffic will be provided.

Mason Market on the Mile
The Mason Market on the Mile returns this season on the Downtown Plaza on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. The market will be available May 23, June 6, June 20, July 11, July 25, August 8, and August 22 featuring a variety of products made by local vendors, food producers, and artisans.
