Residents who recently moved into the City of Mason or the Mason City School District are invited to meet other new residents and learn more about the area during the Community Center’s New Resident Coffee. The coffee is being hosted by Community Basket representative Carrie Monley and is sponsored by the City of Mason and the Mason Deerfield Chamber.
The coffee will be held at the Mason Community Center on the first Wednesday of each month beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Mason Community Center is located at 6050 Mason-Montgomery Road. Refreshments will be provided by Meet Me on Main Café and tours of the Community Center will be included. Those in attendance will also receive a one-day family pass to the Community Center. Children are invited to participate in Kids Korner “free” while parents learn more about the City of Mason.
The Safety Committee of Council is scheduled to meet on Friday, September 7 at 9 a.m. in the Atrium Conference Room located inside the Mason Municipal Center, 6000 Mason Montgomery Road.

The Mason Port Authority is scheduled to meet on Tuesday,September 18 at 2 p.m. at the City of Mason Golf Center, 6042 Fairway Drive, Mason OH 45040.
Mason City Council is scheduled to meet on Monday, September 24 at 6 p.m. for a special ceremony unveiling Mason’s new POW/MIA Memorial. The ceremony takes place at the Mason Municipal Center, 6000 Mason Montgomery Road. Immediately following the ceremony, Mason City Council will meet for the regularly scheduled council meeting at 7 p.m. inside Council Chambers.
