What materials are suitable for brush pickup?
Tree and shrub trimmings over four feet long and less than four inches in diameter can be placed at the curb for the city’s brush chipping program. How do I dispose of yard waste?
In the fall, leaves placed at the curb will be collected by the city. Grass clippings, leaves, weeds, mulch, hay, straw, and other garden debris should be composted if possible to keep waste disposal costs down. If you cannot compost, these items may be included in your regular trash, either bagged separately or placed in with other trash. Dirt, rocks, and tree stumps (broken into pieces if necessary) can also be included in your regular garbage pickup if they are placed in a standard container and do not exceed 75 pounds.
