Mason Community Center’s Kids Korner is open seven days a week to meet the childcare needs of center visitors who are taking a class, using the gym, attending a medical appointment at Group Health or Bethesda Physical Therapy, or participating in other activities.
Our dedicated staff is committed to providing nurturing and quality childcare services for our members and guests. Care is offered for children from three months through 12 years of age. Kids Korner features two separate, yet connected rooms—allowing infants and toddlers to be cared for in one area, while older children play and participate in adult-led activities in the other. Take a tour by using the navigation options below.
Our goal is to provide a fun, safe, and active environment for children that focuses on their individual needs and interests. We encourage play and imagination through arts and crafts, dramatic play centers, a reading center, Mac computers with age-appropriate games, and a Wii gaming system. An outdoor playground is available for use in appropriate weather. Daily activities include gym time, story time, parachute, and “shake, rattle, and roll” through music and movement.
Parents and guardians are welcome to use the Kids Korner services for a maximum of two and half hours per day and must remain on-site, either in the Community Center or at the on-site medical offices.
